Snore...giggle

Stinker,

Last night you woke me up giggling. You see, when Casey and Brendan are here we move your crib into our room and you sleep near me and Daddy. Well last night, in the middle of the night, I woke up to the sound of you giggling. It really is the sweetest sound. I couldn't figure, at first, what you were amused by, you would laugh, then be quiet for a minute then laugh again. Then it hit me, you were laughing at Daddys snores! He would snore, you would giggle a bit then wait... he would snore, you would giggle and wait. I woke him up because it was just too funny for him to miss. So I whispered to him to wake up, then I told him to pretend to snore again and he did, and you were laughing again, it was great. It may have been in the middle of the night but I wouldn;t have missed it for the world. Thank you for bringing such joy into my life little guy.

Love,

Mommy

Brusha brusha brusha

Stinker,

You really like to brush your teeth. The problem is, you don't like to stop. I give you the brush and you want to hold it all day long! If I try to take it away you get very upset and offended. I hope this means you will have superior dental health haha.

Mommy

Cheesey Baby

Stinker,

You are a ham. When I pull out the camera you start cheesing it up immediately. Now I can ask you to say CHEESE! before a take a picture and you do, and you smile and show all of your teeth! It's the cutest thing. For a while there I was worried, I couldn't get a good picture in because you were too fast and moving around constantly. I have alot of picture of the back of your head because of that. But now, since you love to smile, I will get pictures whenever I want them!

What I have learned from you, so far..

Stinker,

You not only bring me alot of joy, you also teach me many useful lessons. Today I wanted to sum that up for you in a list of what you have taught me so far:

  • Running around naked before you know it's gross to poop on the floor is not a good idea.
  • Poop has many uses, it can be used as paint however it's pretty disgusting for whoever has to clean it up. (usually me)
  • It doesn't matter who is looking at you, dance, laugh and be silly as often as possible. The sound of your laugh is the best sound in the entire world.
  • It is possible to miss someone before you've even left the room.
  • Everything I say can and will be repeated, incessantly, so I am learning to watch what I say.
  • Baths are neccesary after the following foods: PB&J, spaghetti, blueberries and pudding. Many other foods fit this list but specifically anything that can be rubbed in hair and all over your face.
  • Some things just disappear. Like the remote and pacifiers.
  • I may be bigger and stronger, but you can run fast.

The most important things I have learned from you are that family is important. We do not have unlimited time here on earth so tell people you love them often, smile when you can and accept hugs when offered.

I'm a mess!

Stinker,

When I was little I didn't get to watch childrens programming, but you get to watch Noggin pretty often. Your favorite singer on there is Laurie Berkner. One of the songs you and I like to dance to is "I'm A Mess" :

"I'm a mess, I'm a mess, I'm a big Ol' messy mess! From the north to the south
to the east to the west what I am is a really big mess!"

Some days it feeling like this song is just really very fitting. Today we are a really big mess. Toys all over the place and neither of us have had baths. I love your little messy face though.
