Stinker,
You told me you love me today. It was the first time and my heart swelled and i got tears in my eyes. Your old Mom is a sap. Daddy was taking you to bed and he had your sippy with Milk in it, you reached for me, gave me a kiss and said "Ahh love you, Bye Bye" and then reached for your milk. You're growing so fast, it's so hard to believe you are walking and now talking already.

My little tornado
Stinker,
We have to talk, look at this house when you wake up in the morning. Daddy and I clean it every night so in the morning we all wake up to a nice organized livingroom. At around 8:00 am-8:30 am you wake up and have breakfast. After breakfast you are allowed to play with your toys. I love that you want to play with all of them at once and discover all there is to discover about everything. You love to tak things apart to see how they work. I love how your mind works. However, you are a tornado, our own personal tornado. At the end of the day your huge toybox is nearly empty and it is near impossible to see the livingroom floor. We are definitely going to have to work on learning to clean up!
I love you tornado,
Mommy

Naked baby
Stinker,
Today when I put you down for your nap you had a diaper on, 2 hours later when I came to get you, you did not. This has to stop. We've been through this before and I have to remind you, son, that the contents of your diaper are not for painting, molding, throwing or smushing. I can't wait until you can use the potty and diapers are history.
Love,
Mommy

Just me and my Shadow
Stinker,
Today was one of those days that make being your Mommy so much fun. Daddy, you and I were driving back from dropping Casey and Brendan off when you started saying Yaaay and clapping in the back. You kept saying Yay, clapping and then being quiet for a moment and starting all over again. Daddy looked in the back and watched to see what you were doing. You were moving your hand through the sunlight and watching the shadow move across the car door and then getting so excited you had to clap. How wonderful it is to watch you discover the world baby boy.
I love you,
Mommy

Sick again
Stinker,
I hate seeing you feel bad. You have a cold again and I wish I could get sick instead of you. Although you do make me pay for it. You are the worst sleeper when you don't feel well. We are sleeping on the pull-out couch again tonight because you don't want to sleep alone. I know this because you refuse to lay down when I put you in your crib. You scream and cry until I can't bear it anymore and I finally take you out. Daddy needs his sleep so we stay in the livingroom and camp out. I hope you are feeling better tomorrow.

Picking you up after the concert
Stinker,
So Mommy and Daddy had a blast at the concert but all I could think of when I woke up this morning was coming to get you. When I walked in you were having lunch with Grandma and Aunt Shannon. You had a great time with Gran and Gramp and at the party. Grandma said you were so well behaved and you smiled and laughed with everyone. You are such a charmer.

Thank God for Daddy
Stinker,
What a terrible night you had tonight. You were fussing and crying, didn;t want to go to bed and didn;t want to stay up. You were having such a fit and everything I did wasn't working. You didn't even want your pacifier, which means there is definitely something wrong. For a moment, Daddy looked at you, then he bent over your, massaged your tummy for a minute, he pushed a bunch of gas out of you (yes, I laughed a bunch) and then you were fine! Ta-daa! I was impressed beyond words. This is nothing I would have thought of doing so all I can think is thank God for Daddy!
